What we collect
We may collect account details, business information, listing content, reviews, event submissions, and contact messages sent through the platform.
If you allow browser location, we may use it to improve nearby search results and local recommendations.
How we use it
We use submitted information to publish content, route leads, improve search relevance, and operate support, moderation, and billing tools.
We do not promise private, off-platform handling for information that you intentionally publish as part of a business, event, or marketplace listing.
Email audience, consent, and local preferences
If you request local email updates, we store your name, verified email identity, declared primary and followed markets, preferred language, granular subscriptions, acquisition source, and a versioned consent history. A subscription is activated only after email confirmation.
We record limited first-party events needed to measure confirmation, delivery, clicks, preference changes, and return actions. Audience events have an expiration date; precise GPS and raw search terms are not stored in the audience profile.
Before subscription, placement telemetry is anonymous, aggregate, purpose-limited, rate-limited, and retained for 90 days. We do not store raw IP addresses or user-agent/device strings with those events, and we do not later merge them into an identified audience profile.
Email delivery may be processed by our configured provider. Hispanic Plaza remains the source of truth for consent, preferences, suppressions, automation history, and unsubscribe decisions.
Sensitive activity and sponsored content
We do not build advertising segments from immigration status or need, health conditions, legal vulnerability, religion, race or ethnicity, emergency or public-safety use, or sensitive Resource interactions. Using Hispanic Plaza does not cause us to infer a protected identity.
A future sponsored email block must be clearly disclosed and visually distinct. It remains inactive unless specifically configured and approved.
Your control
You can request updates or removals for your information by contacting support@hispanicplaza.com.
Business owners remain responsible for the accuracy of the information they publish or claim.
