Employer: Aerotek. Hiring for Assembler - $18-$19/hr - Can start - ASAP!!! Job Description - Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, boring machines, and grinders. - Trim, drill, route, line up, and assemble materials. - Work with forming machine presses. - Set up and break down production tools and aids. - Use gauges, scales, calipers, and other measuring equipment. - Perform daily maintenance on machines including maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, and cleaning machines. - Check and monitor parts that are being run. - Deburr and blend all machined parts. Essential Skills - High school diploma or equivalent. - 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. - Ability to read basic dimensions and tolerances of blueprints. - Math skills for basic calculations. - Proficiency in using measuring equipment like calipers and micrometers. - Ability to lift 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Knowledge of the aerospace industry preferred. - Trade school education in machining practices preferred.
