Employer: KOCH FOODS. Shift 3rd Shift Description THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT MAINTENANCE POSITION. - Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure goals of the department are met. - Communicate directly with operations to coordinate maintenance and repairs for equipment. - Communicate with QA to ensure effective participation by the maintenance technicians in the implementation of QA policies and procedures. - Implement programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness. - Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions. - Ensure all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures. - Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems. - Supervise plant maintenance staff. - Initiate, implement, and manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance. Requirements - Some college or technical certification preferred - 5+ years managing a maintenance department required, poultry industry preferred - Strong demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Physical Requirements - Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment. - Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines. - Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C). - Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments. - Regularly lift 25+ lbs. - Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
