This position is responsible for leading construction focused digital delivery, automation, and technology solutions across large, complex infrastructure projects and programs. The Construction Automation Team Lead will oversee and mentor a team of construction technology professionals while establishing technical strategy, scalable workflows, governance standards, and implementation approaches that support the full project lifecycle from planning and design through construction and turnover to operations. This role will drive innovation in construction delivery through the application of automation, data integration, VDC, BIM, and advanced digital workflows that improve project execution, quality, safety, and efficiency. The position is responsible for advancing practical and scalable solutions that align with contractor, owner, and project team needs while supporting enterprise consistency and long term digital strategy. The Construction Automation Team Lead will play a key role in expanding HNTB’s construction technology capabilities, enhancing client value, developing staff, and positioning the firm at the forefront of digital transformation within the infrastructure and construction industry.
