Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** This role supports a civil construction project by performing a wide range of general labor tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and assisting skilled trades to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project completion. **Responsibilities** + Perform general labor duties on a civil construction site, including site cleanup, basic demolition, and material staging. + Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around the job site in a safe and efficient manner. + Use basic hand tools to assist with construction tasks as directed by supervisors and skilled trades personnel. + Support construction activities such as setting up work areas, preparing materials, and helping with simple assembly tasks. + Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment. + Lift, carry, and position materials weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily work activities. + Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and be ready to begin work at the designated start time. + Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the shift. + Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines. The location is near Commonwealth LNG **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, LA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
