Employer: Aerotek. **Hiring for a 1st Shift Carpenter in downtown Nashville** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team, where you will be responsible for a range of carpentry tasks. Your duties will include installing plywood decking, framing walls with 2x4s, and building or tearing down handrails. This position offers 40 hours a week with opportunity for overtime and paid parking. **Responsibilities** + Construct and dismantle handrails according to project specifications. + Use hand tools and power tools to perform various carpentry duties. **Essential Skills** + Carpentry + Framing + Proficiency with hand tools + A minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience + Experience working on a construction job site + Familiarity with OSHA and construction safety standards + Knowledge of residential construction + Form carpentry and concrete form experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Any OSHA or related certifications are a plus + Experience in residential framing and concrete form carpentry **Why Work Here?** This opportunity allows you to work on the Titan's stadium, a new construction project, with the potential for a contract-to-hire arrangement. You will work the first shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Orientation takes place at 6:00 am from Monday to Thursday, followed by regular shifts. You must have your own basic hand tools, including a hammer, square, chalk box, and tape measure, and be prepared with tool bags. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
