Employer: PeaceHealth. **Description** PeaceHealth is seeking a Dietitian II for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $36.46 – $54.68. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. **Job Summary** This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of nutrition care, consulting with other healthcare professionals as needed. **Details of the Position:** + Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process including: nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate nutrition intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation and follow up of outcomes. + Using evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines to provide nutrition education to patients and families in the outpatient and/or inpatient settings. + Provides consult services to other healthcare providers and participates in the interdisciplinary team. Uses evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines + Documents in the EMR in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations. + When appropriate, makes referrals to other services, agencies and community resources. + Actively contributes to Quality/Process Improvement measures within the department and throughout the hospital including planning, implementing, and evaluating programs. + Performs other duties as assigned. **What You Bring:** + Master's Degree Required: in a related field of study. Caregivers who earned their RD license before 1/1/2024 when a bachelor's degree was sufficient will be grandfathered. + Minimum of 3 years Required: Experience in a related setting as a Registered Dietitian + Required: Upon Hire Registered Dietitian and + Required: Upon Hire National Dietitian Certifications Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), or Certified Nutrition Support C
