This position performs routine medical assisting procedures to promote patient comfort, safety, and quality care. **Job Specifications and Core Competencies** **Education:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Completion of a one-year medical assistant program or an accredited two-year medical assisting program + Previous experience or training in general medical office skills and procedures preferred + Knowledge of medical terminology required **Licensure:** + Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA is preferred at hire and required within 90 days + CPR certification required within 60 days of hire **Experience:** + One to three years of experience in a medical or physician office preferred + Basic business office, clinical, and computer skills preferred **Our Commitment** Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspective
