UPMC Specialty Care Gastroenterology Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team in York, PA. This position offers an opportunity to work alongside providers and clinical staff in a busy gastroenterology practice, supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. The Medical Assistant plays an important role in delivering high-quality patient care while helping to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment while providing exceptional service and support to both patients and providers. What You'll Do: + Room patients and prepare them for provider visits + Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information + Assist providers with patient care, examinations, and procedures as needed + Manage and respond to patient messages and clinical work baskets + Support patient triage activities and assist with clinical workflows when needed + Coordinate care activities to help ensure timely and efficient patient service + Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record + Contribute to a positive patient experience by providing compassionate and professional care + Support UPMC's commitment to quality, safety, and service excellence Schedule: + Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. + No weekends or holidays Join a team that is dedicated to providing exceptional gastroenterology care while making a positive impact on the lives of patients every day.
