Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler** Forklift Operator / Material Handler **Pay:** $17-$20/hour **Locations Available:** + Wharton, NJ 07885 + Denville, NJ 07834 We are seeking dependable Forklift Operators / Material Handlers to support warehouse and yard operations. This position is responsible for safely operating a sit-down propane forklift, loading and unloading materials, moving inventory, palletizing products, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical labor, lifting heavy materials, and working in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate a sit-down propane forklift safely and efficiently. + Load, unload, move, and store materials. + Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare orders for shipment. + Support shipping and receiving operations. + Maintain inventory accuracy through counting and material tracking. + Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues. + Follow all safety procedures and warehouse standards. + Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals. **Qualities** + Previous forklift experience required. + Warehouse or material handling experience preferred. + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. + Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. + Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. + Ability to read and follow work instructions. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Work Environment** + Fast-paced warehouse/material handling environment + Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling + Forklift operation throughout the shift + Exposure to outdoor conditions during loading/unloading activities **Core Skills** + Sit-down forklift operation + Material handling + Loading and unloading materials + Inventory handling + Order picking and packing + Warehouse support + Physical lab
