The ideal candidate will prioritize job flow based on input from production planning and be proficient in processing work instructions, reading routings, process sheets, and shop orders. Experience with precision measuring tools and light equipment maintenance is essential, along with a focus on quality control and product traceability. **Responsibilities** + Prioritize job flow based on production planning input. + Process work instructions, read routings, process sheets, and shop orders. + Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, rulers, and scales. + Perform light equipment maintenance and use various hand tools. + Maintain product traceability, accurate alloy identification, and order documentation. + Recognize and communicate quality issues throughout the production process. + Collaborate with engineering on process improvements. + Lift up to 50 lbs or operate a hoist for heavier materials. + Step up and down frequently, stand for long periods, and identify small defects during inspection. + Work overtime when necessary. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and machine operation. + Proficiency with forklifts and machine setup. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Good communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines. + Basic math skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid fork truck license required for most melt and extrusion roles. + Solid experience in manufacturing. + Ability to handle multiple projects effectively. **Why Work Here?** Join a workplace that prioritizes safety and provides comprehensive PPE for all employees while maintaining rigorous safety standards.
