Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives._ LabCorp is seeking a **Phlebotomist** to join our team in **Cedar Rapids, IA** at 3rd Avenue Southeast, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403. **Work Schedule:** Monday-Wednesday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed **Job Responsibilities:** + Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups + Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. + Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner + Process billing information and collect payments when required + Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis + Maintain patient and specimen information logs + Provide superior customer service to all patients + Administrative and clerical duties as necessary + Travel to additional sites when needed **Minimum Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications:** + Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist + Drawing on pediatrics **Additional Job Standards:** + In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency + Able to pass a standardized color blindness test + Strong communication skills; both written and verbal + Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service + Ability to work independently or in a team environment + Comfortable working under minimal supervision + Flexibility to work overtime as needed At Labcorp, we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
