Employer: Eaton Corporation. Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Picker/Packer - 2nd shift. The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is $18.22/hour plus $1.00/hr shift differential per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** The Picker/Packer is responsible for support distribution by ensuring quality items are shipped to the customer in a timely manner. The Picker/Packer will interact closely with our automated system Autostore to drive operational excellence, enhance productivity, and optimize order fulfillment processes. + Receive and put away incoming products with our cutting-edge AutoStore system to locate and select finished goods for processing customer orders + Operate warehouse picking, cycle counting, and put away by interfacing with automated equipment + Locate and select finished goods to process customer orders + Climb ladders, use barcode scanners, touchscreen, and keyboards on computers to complete inventory transactions + Special labeling, and palletizing finished goods for transport + Perform dunnage operations as needed + Receive and put away incoming product + Stage cardboard boxes + Perform pallet-jack operations + Responsible for quality of own work. Perform waste and material management activities in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements + Keep work area clean and orderly in accordance to Eaton’s 5-S procedures.
