Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19 on Days $20 on Nights Shift are 12 hours- either 6:40am-6:40pm, OR 6:40PM- 6:40AM Clean Climate controlled environment. What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be: - Operating PVD coating furnaces to coat carbide and Cermet inserts, ensuring product setup and cleanliness. - Entering product weights and desired coating cycle information into the computer system and monitoring the coating process. - Performing necessary maintenance tasks, including cleaning fixtures and base plates, ensuring adequate gas supply, and conducting batch cleanings at proper intervals. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: - Have a High School diploma or GED; a 2-year technical degree is preferred. - Possess the ability to understand oral and written communications and perform basic math. - Are comfortable using a personal computer and various software, including SAP MII, and can handle inserts without chipping per handling guidelines.
