Description A premier hotel and resort property in Carlsbad is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily front office operations and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role is ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy coaching team members, solving guest concerns, and maintaining high service standards. The Front Desk Supervisor will partner closely with hotel leadership while ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient check-in and check-out processes, and outstanding guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Front Office Leadership + Supervise front desk staff and daily guest services operations + Assist with scheduling, training, and coaching team members + Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction metrics + Handle escalated guest concerns and service recovery situations + Ensure accurate room assignments and reservation management Guest Experience + Welcome VIP guests and assist with special requests + Oversee check-in and check-out procedures + Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams + Maintain a professional and guest-focused environment + Assist with occupancy, revenue, and operational reporting Administrative Responsibilities + Prepare front office reports and shift summaries + Audit reservation accuracy and guest accounts + Support cash handling and billing procedures + Assist management with operational initiatives and projects Requirements + 3+ years of hotel front desk experience + Previous supervisory or lead experience within hospitality preferred + Experience with Opera PMS, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or similar property management systems preferred + Strong customer service and leadership skills + Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities + Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays + Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solu
