The candidate must be an enthusiastic and motivated person to lead small to large sized projects and tasks, and serve as a key technical resource on all types of challenging transportation projects. The Senior Roadway Engineer will perform engineering design, analysis and task management duties on all types of transportation projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for work including geometric studies, report writing, preliminary and final engineering, plan production, drainage design, construction staging, design and quantity calculations, cost estimates, and other related efforts. Typical duties may include the following: Your Impact - Determine well-defined methods for collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, subsurface utility information, maps, hydrologic analysis, geotechnical data, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction. - Perform professional civil engineering work and conduct research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, resources, building, infrastructure, and transportation channels to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, and construction or operating permits. - Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates; preparing construction safety and phasing plans, and updating infrastructure layout plans that require coordination with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and c
