This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in mechanical systems, project management, and team coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure that all mechanical work is completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. District Overview Kiewit’s Southern California District is one of Kiewit’s leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil projects that include earth moving, water/wastewater, transportation, roadways, and power projects. Most of our work is concentrated in the Southern California region. Location We are looking for Superintendents to work out of one of our many SoCal based projects. This position could be located in Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, San Fernando Valley and/or Glendora, CA. Responsibilities - Plan, schedule, and coordinate all mechanical activities on assigned projects. - Supervise and mentor mechanical crews, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. - Ensure all mechanical work meets project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. - Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, adhering to all safety policies and procedures. - Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and materials, and approve monthly job cost updates. - Identify and resolve any mechanical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. - Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and providing regular project updates. - Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders. - Ass
