Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves providing basic maintenance repairs across six low-income housing apartment complexes within Hartford. This position offers flexibility with work hours from Monday to Thursday and an option to extend hours on Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that apartments are well-maintained between tenants, contributing to the upkeep and improvement of our growing portfolio. **Responsibilities** + Travel to various apartment complexes within Hartford to perform maintenance tasks. + Conduct basic repairs such as replacing doorknobs, patching drywall, painting touch-ups, and replacing lightbulbs in appliances. + Utilize personal hand tools for maintenance work; larger power tools will be provided. + Ensure all handyman-type work is completed efficiently without requiring a professional license. **Essential Skills** + Experience in building maintenance and facility management. + Proficiency with electrical maintenance. + Expertise in hand and power tool usage. + Ability to perform drywall and sheetrock repairs. + Knowledge of framing and drywall hanging. + Minimum one year of property maintenance experience. + Ability to read, write, and speak English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Spanish speaking is a plus but not required. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that is continually expanding and acquiring more properties, offering exciting growth opportunities.
