Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production and facility equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on keeping plastic manufacturing equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently through strong pneumatic and electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and effective use of PLC diagnostics (no programming required). The technician works with a variety of industrial machines and supports overall plant reliability. + \#aerojobsPAtrades26 **Responsibilities** + Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment, including press machines, bag sealers, air-pillow machines, wrap machines, air compressors, roll handlers, roll tapers, and general facility systems. + Support and maintain 5–7 larger pieces of plastic manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production. + Diagnose and resolve pneumatic issues by troubleshooting valves, cylinders, air lines, and air systems. + Perform electrical troubleshooting on 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC systems to identify and correct faults safely and efficiently. + Use PLC diagnostics to read fault codes, interpret I/O status, and identify machine faults without performing programming changes. + Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to guide repairs and maintenance activities. + Perform mechanical repairs and adjustments involving tools, bearings, belts, chains, drives, and related components. + Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on machinery and facility systems, including starting work prior to 7:00 a.m. when needed to complete PM tasks. + Work safely around heavy industrial equipment, compressed air systems, and electrical components, following established safety procedures. + Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status, issues, and repair
