Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and provide essential technical and mechanical support for various process equipment and systems within an animal facility. This role requires expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of equipment and systems. **Responsibilities** + Provide technical/mechanical support on all process equipment/systems for full support of an animal facility. + Diagnose, repair, and service equipment/systems including isolators, autoclaves, boilers, clean steam system, incubators, HVAC, controlled temperature units, pump seals/rebuilds, and plumbing/piping work. + Execute and review preventive and corrective work orders as scheduled and ensure timely closure of work orders. + Supervise outside contractors performing facility and equipment-related services. + Respond to building and equipment/system alarms during normal business hours and off hours. + Assist with the development and improvement of department procedures, documents, and operating and maintenance practices. + Perform on-call duties. + Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance and repair services. + Install light bulbs, doors, bulletin boards, and cabinets. + Paint interior and exterior walls; assemble furniture. + Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs. + Maintain equipment records of repairs and preventative maintenance performed. + Keep all work areas and mechanical rooms clean, safe, and well-organized. + Create and maintain a good parts and material inventory and accountability of tools. + Perform minor and major repair of all buildings and non-network related equipment. + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment; inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, etc. + Willing to perform drywall and painting. **Essential Skills** + Maintenance + HVAC + Electrical + Troubleshooting + Repair + Preventive maintenance +
