Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description The Industrial Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing emergency and preventive maintenance, and supporting machine changeovers to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly. Responsibilities - Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical machine issues to identify root causes and implement effective repairs. - Perform emergency repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations. - Execute work orders and complete scheduled maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating machines. - Communicate performance issues, safety concerns, and repair needs to the Group Lead or Production Supervisor in a timely and clear manner. - Record production issues and maintenance activities on shift reports to support accurate documentation and communication between shifts. - Update the schedule board with equipment issues and maintenance status to keep the team informed. - Read and interpret blueprints and equipment documentation to support accurate troubleshooting and repairs. - Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to prioritize tasks and support overall production goals. - Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments. Essential Skills - Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in machine maintenance and repair. - Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery. - Knowledge of printing machines and presses, including printing press operations and components. - Experience with plastics injection molding equipment and processes. - Mechanical certification or equivalent mechanical training and experience. - Experience working
