Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator - 1st Shift to join their team. - Machine Operator - 1st Shift, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine Operator - Location: Springfield, MO Pay Range: $20 Shift: Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2 pm What's the Job? - Safely set-up and operate equipment to maximize machine efficiency and product output. - Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve routine equipment malfunctions. - Monitor production processes, checking for defects or malfunctions that could impact product quality. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities. - Follow safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and adhering to all safety procedures. What's Needed? - High school diploma or GED equivalent. - At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar role. - Strong technical skills and familiarity with various types of machinery and equipment. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation.
