Employer: ManpowerGroup. Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the wood products industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, supporting various operational functions. Job Title: Production Associate Location: Strongsville, OH Pay Range: $17 Shift: 7am - 3:30pm What's the Job? - Set up, operate, and complete all stages of the fabrication and finishing process for wood products, including cutting, shaping, sanding, assembling, coating, and finishing using machinery, tools, and UV equipment. - Ensure product quality by verifying dimensions, inspecting materials for defects, and performing related duties to support operational efficiency. - Assist with general labor duties - Support changeovers, set ups, and adjustments for production activities - Maintain equipment during down periods through cleaning and preventive measures, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. What's Needed? - Ability to climb stairs, stand for extended periods (2-3 hours), and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. - Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations. - Consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety at all times. - Flexibility to work overtime, including some weekends, on various schedules. - No prior experience required; training will be provided to support your success.
