Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Tooling Mechanic to support the Tooling & Emergent Operations Team in Berkeley, MO ! Position Responsibilities: - Fabricate, maintain, modify, & install various forms of tooling, such as production assembly jigs, engineering test fixtures, fabrication equipment, etc. in collaboration with engineering design teams, production operations, and production engineering - Develop, prepare and maintain all documentation related to the design, fabrication, and usage of various tooling items and their respective associated calibration equipment - Program, setup, and machine parts on 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, and live tooling lathes - Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components(Examples: Bridgeport mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.) - Other responsibilities to include Equipment Maintenance & Calibration, Blueprint Reading, CNC machining, Welding, Composites Modification, Tooling Inspection, Laser Tracking, CMM and Portable Arm Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - 1+ years’ experience working in a machining environment - 1+ years’ expe
