Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description This role focuses on sorting and separating recyclable materials in a warehouse environment and operating specialized equipment such as a baler and Styrofoam densifier to support efficient recycling processes. Responsibilities - Sort and separate various recyclable materials according to established procedures and quality standards. - Operate the baler to compact recyclable materials safely and efficiently. - Operate the Styrofoam densifier to process Styrofoam and related materials in accordance with safety and operational guidelines. - Inspect materials for contamination and remove any non-recyclable items before processing. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company policies and safety regulations. - Follow all equipment operating procedures and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. - Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse as needed. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and recycling goals. Essential Skills - Ability to safely sort and handle various recyclable materials. - Ability to learn and operate a baler in a warehouse or industrial setting. - Ability to learn and operate a Styrofoam densifier following detailed instructions. - Strong attention to detail to ensure proper separation of materials and safe equipment use. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures. - High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Interest in recycling, sustainability, or environmentally focused work. - Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with industrial equipment. - Reliability and strong work ethic, including consistent attendance and punctuality. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
