For generations, Firestone Country Club has been a part of Akron's identity, welcoming some of the biggest names in golf while showcasing our city to the world through the PGA Tour. As this chapter comes to a close, Akron remains proud of our deep golf legacy, grateful to everyone who made this event special, and excited to support the next chapter of charity and community-driven work. We have had conversations this week with Matt Kaulig and Kaulig Companies Championship about their continued commitment to Firestone Country Club and Akron. We are so excited about the news you shared today welcoming multi-platinum country artist Bailey Zimmerman for a headlining concert in Akron on Friday, July 10.
