Over 60 vendors and exhibitors are set for the Flag Day 250 event at Greene County Fairgrounds & Expo Center on Sunday, June 14! With everything from crafts, food vendors, exhibitors, reenactors, youth sellers, kids' activities, and more—there's SOMETHING for EVERYONE. The fun kicks off at 4 pm as vendors open and the music starts with a concert by Ryan Adams Music. The Michelle Robinson Band will close out the concert with more great music! Please bring your own chairs for comfort. The concert is FREE. The Veteran's Picnic - America 250 Flag Day Celebration will run from 4–6 p.m. (or until the food runs out—everyone is welcome, you don’t have to be a veteran). Hot off the grill, there will be FREE hot dogs along with chips, popcorn, and some cold water—also FREE. The night will close with the Flag Day 250 ~ Flag Retirement Ceremony at 6:30 p.m., an amazing experience if you’ve never seen it before. This ceremony is hosted by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. This is also FREE. Don’t forget about the coloring contest and the pie baking contest where you could win big prizes for your hard work. Visit www.flagday250.com for info on both. For even more fun, we’ll have a Touch-a-Truck event featuring the Batmobile from Carl’s Body Shop and Diamond Rio—a custom-built truck. Bring your cameras. This is going to be a great event!
