Employer: CBRE. About the Role: As a CBRE Facilities Consultant, you will oversee a varietyof projects in support of the maintenance and repair program for assignedfacilities. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functionalarea which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets,providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investmentplans. What You’ll Do: • Coordinate soft services for all business units, largedepartments, or work groups. Establish specifications, solicit bids, negotiate,and participate in contract development. • Review and approve vendor contracts and specify terms ofagreements. • Secure necessary operating supplies such as janitorial andmaintenance. • Oversee various services such as maintenance, landscaping,snow/ice removal, and paving. • Point of contact for emergency situations and issues thatoccur during and outside of normal business hours. • Confirm company and client records are managed accordingto policies, procedures, and legal requirements. • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles andtechniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovativesolutions. • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own jobdiscipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach anagreement. • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, orservice activities within own team and other related teams. • Work within broad guidelines and policies. • Explaindifficult or sensitive information. What You’ll Need: • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevantexperience.
