As an Aide, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping duties throughout patient and public areas to maintain a clean, attractive, and safe facility. These areas include, but are not limited to, patient rooms, utility rooms, nurse stations, bathrooms, locker rooms, exam rooms, and offices. A caregiver in this role works evenings from 2:30 p.m. -- 11:00 p.m. A caregiver who excels in this role will: - Perform housekeeping duties in patient and public areas to ensure a clean, attractive and safe environment. Areas include patient rooms, utility rooms, nurse stations, isolation rooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, exam rooms and offices. - Empty, clean and reline waste baskets. - Perform daily cleaning, high/low dusting, mopping, sweeping, spot cleaning, polishing and vacuuming. - Wipe tabletops, phones, TV cords, and doorknobs. - Replenish room supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, seat covers and hand soap. - Transport trash from utility rooms and collection spots to pick up points. - Assist in cleaning emergency situations that are observed or requested. - Maintain arrangement of furniture in patient rooms, offices and lounges. - Understand the proper use of chemicals, dilution, usage and measuring. - Participate in and attend all in-services, become familiar with the employee h
