Key Responsibilities - Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and production schedules. - Serve meals or prepare food for delivery using correct portioning and quality standards. - Ensure all food is cooked, seasoned, and presented properly; taste food to verify quality. - Follow ticket and documentation procedures during service periods. - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and storage spaces after preparation and serving. - Store or discard leftover food following safe food-handling procedures. - Maintain organized refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms with proper rotation and labeling. - Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and according to instructions. - Assist with production planning, inventory, ordering, receiving, and recordkeeping. - Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns immediately. - Attend safety, in-service, or required team meetings. - Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, administrators, managers, and guests. - Ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment. - Perform other duties as assigned to support the dining team.
