Job Title: Carpenter Job Description This role involves performing carpentry work on multiple projects, with a focus on steel stud framing, drop and acoustical ceilings, doors and windows, and finish carpentry. You will use your skills in cutting, measuring, and blueprint reading to complete high-quality installations in a fast-paced, professional construction environment. Responsibilities - Perform steel stud framing for commercial construction projects, ensuring structures are square, plumb, and level. - Install framing for walls, ceilings, and other structural elements according to project specifications and blueprints. - Install drop ceilings and acoustical ceilings, including grid systems and panels, with precise alignment and finish. - Install doors and windows, including frames, hardware, and glass, ensuring proper operation and weather-tight seals. - Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to meet design and layout requirements. - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to understand scope of work and required specifications. - Perform finish carpentry tasks as needed to complete interior and exterior work to a professional standard. - Use carpentry hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including hammers, drills, levels, and squares. - Follow all safety protocols, including wearing PPE at all times and maintaining a clean, organized work area. - Arrive on site by the required start time, clock in and out correctly, and move efficiently between assigned floors and facilities. - Follow directions precisely from site leadership, adapt to feedback, and adjust methods as requested. - Maintain productivity throughout the workday, demonstrating strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. - Refrain from cell phone use, calls, and headphones during work hours to maintain focus and site safety.
