Company: Amcor. Job Description SUMMARY: The Shift Production Lead is responsible for overseeing processes, operators, and communication and support for their assigned production line(s) or area. GENERAL JOB DUTIES: - Demonstrate teamwork and actively participate in a positive work environment. - Show problem-solving skills in a workplace focused on continuous improvement. - Follow company policies and demonstrate conduct expected of Amcor employees as detailed in the Corporate and Local Handbook. - Follow all Amcor safety and health objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy workplace. Work safely at all times and report unsafe conditions to your supervisor so that they can be addressed. Report any accidents and near misses promptly when they happen. - Maintain proper ergonomics when performing assigned tasks. - Meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as those of Amcor. - Achieve daily production goals and departmental objectives as directed. - Clean all assigned work areas after completing required tasks, return all tools to their proper storage areas at the end of the shift, and report any equipment malfunctions. This includes following Good Manufacturing Practices to meet plant goals. Report daily on the Master Cleaning Schedule. - Direct any non-conforming parts to the designated reprocess area. - Maintain standard production goals through proper machine operation and accurate production records. Share production information at shift change. - Use company radios, PA system, and/or phone with proper business etiquette, only for business use. - Perform other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Review process data daily: - Ensure machines operate at established standard cycle times and cavitations. - Ensure proper use of resin, regrind, PCR, and additives.
