Employer: Aerotek. Job Title: Brake Press Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team in Kent, OH. This role involves setting up and operating brake press machines to produce accurate parts according to specifications. Responsibilities - Set up brake press machines with the correct materials, tools, and dies. - Adjust machine settings to meet required specs and tolerances. - Run CNC and/or manual brake press machines, including making or editing programs as needed. - Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to produce accurate parts. - Check production using measuring tools like calipers and gauges. - Ensure all parts meet quality standards and requirements. - Move finished parts safely using cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Adhere to all safety rules and procedures. Essential Skills - Experience operating brake press equipment preferred. - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. - Strong shop math skills. - Experience using precision measuring tools. - Ability to operate lifts or cranes (or willingness to learn). Additional Skills & Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED required. - Prior manufacturing experience preferred. - Ability to stand for extended periods. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Manual dexterity required.
