Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented carpenter to join our commercial construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and reading blueprints. This role involves working on a variety of commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. **Responsibilities** + Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials for walls, floors, doors, windows, and fixtures. + Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, and hardware. + Perform layout and framing for commercial buildings. + Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. + Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet project timelines. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. + Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial carpentry. + Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment. + Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations. + Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. + Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various environments. + Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10 or 30 certification. **Why Work Here?** This is a direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 6% 401K match.
