Employer: Aerotek. **Electrician (Commercial & Industrial)** **Pay:$27-32+/hour** **Overview** We are seeking skilled **Electricians** to support a variety of construction and service projects across the **Hampton Roads area** . This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse job sites performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on power and control systems. Depending on your experience level, you will be assigned to projects where you can work independently and take ownership of your work. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in **commercial and industrial environments** + **Install and service electrical systems and equipment, including:** + **Motors, relays, starters, and switches** + Motor Control Centers (MCCs) + Switchgear and transformers + Power distribution systems + Heat tracing systems and cable trays + Determine conduit sizing, pull wire, make terminations, and install junction boxes per code and project specifications + Run and bend **rigid conduit, EMT, and PVC** for various applications + Support new construction, retrofits, equipment replacements, and service work + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings + Perform **power and control wiring** at a journeyman or master level + Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions + Work independently, managing tasks, time, and workflow efficiently + Follow **NEC, local electrical codes, and OSHA safety standards** + **Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites** + **Coordinate with supervisors, team members, and other trades** **Required Qualifications** + Strong experience in **commercial and/or industrial electrical work** + **Proven ability to:** + **Run and bend conduit (rigid, EMT, PVC)** + Pull wire and perform terminations + Install and troubleshoot electrical systems + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings + Working knowledge of **NEC and OSHA regulations** + **Abili
