Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** The Assembler supports production by building crates and related components using power tools and hand tools while following established manufacturing and quality standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are assembled accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. **Responsibilities** + Assemble crates and related components according to work instructions, drawings, or production specifications. + Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to cut, fasten, and secure materials during the assembly process. + Inspect materials and finished products to verify they meet quality and safety standards. + Follow manufacturing procedures and production schedules to meet daily output and productivity goals. + Identify and report defects, quality issues, or equipment problems to the appropriate personnel. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of tools and materials. + Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while operating tools and working on the production floor. + Collaborate with team members and support other production tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. **Essential Skills** + Previous manufacturing or general production experience. + Hands-on experience using power tools and hand tools in an industrial or production setting. + Ability to perform basic assembly tasks accurately and consistently. + Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures. + Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets. + Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts, including 1st and 3rd shifts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in crate assembly or similar assembly work in a manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with basic quality control practices in production
