Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** The Assembler role focuses on building and packaging small mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components used in elevator doors, walls, and related assemblies. You will work on an assembly line using hand and power tools to assemble, align, and prepare elevator subassemblies and finished assemblies for shipment, while following detailed manufacturing information, drawings, and instructions and maintaining high quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components. + Perform all operations required to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies within allocated timeframes while maintaining quality specifications. + Work from manufacturing information, SAP data, COE sheets, engineering drawings, and both written and oral instructions to complete assigned tasks. + Package and clearly identify completed assemblies for shipment according to established procedures. + Maintain all required production records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. + Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks. + Read and use a tape measure to take accurate measurements during assembly and packaging. + Perform picking, packing, and kitting activities to support the assembly process. + Follow basic blueprint and drawing instructions to assemble components correctly. + Lift and move materials and components, including occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds. + Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment while working in the shop. + Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues affecting quality, safety, or production flow. **Essential Skills** + Basic mechanical assembly experience or strong mechanical inclination. + Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively. + Ability to read and use a tape m
