Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** This role focuses on assembling electronic products and subassemblies according to engineering specifications and drawings. You will use soldering equipment, hand tools, and basic manufacturing instruments to build high-quality assemblies while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. **Responsibilities** + Assemble products and electronic subassemblies in accordance with engineering specifications, drawings, and work instructions. + Use soldering irons, solder pots, and hand tools to perform assembly and soldering tasks. + Perform wire stripping and crimping, as well as sub-assembly and final assembly of electronic components and units. + Position and align parts in specified relationships using fixtures or other holding devices to ensure accurate assembly. + Install finished assemblies or subassemblies into cases, housings, cans, or other enclosures. + Join and secure parts using methods such as crimping, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, press fitting, or similar operations. + Mix epoxy and other chemicals as required for the assembly process, following safety and handling guidelines. + Use basic manufacturing equipment, tools, and gauges such as multimeters, torque gauges, and force gauges to verify assembly quality. + Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work area in compliance with workplace safety and housekeeping standards. + Follow written and verbal instructions accurately to meet quality, safety, and production requirements. + Perform basic math, such as addition and subtraction, to interpret dimensions and measurements during assembly tasks. + Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support production goals. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or completion of a relevant technical certificate program. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Hands-on soldering experience in an assembly environment. +
