The Fitness Manager is responsible for the **overall leadership and day-to-day management of the Fitness Department** , including direct oversight of the Fitness Supervisor and Fitness Coach II team. This role ensures all operations, staff performance, guest services, and facility standards are executed at the highest level. The Fitness Manager leads by example, driving accountability, service excellence, safety compliance, and operational efficiency while aligning with the overall goals of the NCED Conference Center & Hotel. **Job Responsibilities** Department Operations (Day-to-Day Ownership) ? Maintain full responsibility for daily operations of the fitness center including gym, pool, locker rooms, and surrounding areas. ? Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement. Guest Service & Experience ? Ensure the highest level of customer service and professionalism across the department. ? Lead by example in guest engagement and issue resolution. ? Ensure staff: ? Greet and assist guests ? Provide guidance on equipment use ? Maintain a welcoming environment Facility, Equipment & Maintenance Oversight ? Ensure all equipment is: ? Cleaned regularly ? Maintained in proper working order ? Reported and tracked for repairs ? Coordinate with Maintenance and Housekeeping as needed. ?
