Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Housekeeping** **Job Description** This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment across a multi-building college campus. You perform general building maintenance and housekeeping tasks, including trash removal, recycling, and room setup and breakdown for special events. You support day-to-day campus operations by moving furniture and boxes, assisting with office relocations, and ensuring facilities are presentable for students, staff, and visitors. **Responsibilities** + Perform general housekeeping and facility maintenance duties across multiple campus buildings. + Remove trash and recyclables from classrooms, shared spaces, grounds, hospitals, and laboratories, and dispose of them in designated areas. + Clean offices and common areas to maintain a neat and sanitary environment. + Move furniture and boxes as needed for daily operations and special events. + Set up rooms for special events, including arranging furniture and equipment according to event requirements. + Break down rooms after events and return spaces to their standard configuration. + Assist with relocating offices, including moving materials, furniture, and equipment safely and efficiently. + Follow established safety procedures while performing all tasks, including proper lifting and material handling techniques. + Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with faculty, staff, students, and visitors. + Work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform occasional indoor tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly. + Experience with material handling, including moving furniture, boxes, and equipment. + Ability to clean offices and general facility spaces to established standards. + Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures in a facilities and housekeeping environment. + Basic understanding of general facility duties in a campus or multi-building set
