We are adding Construction Field Engineers to work on a major upgrade to I-80 with the construction of a new Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility that will increase inspection capacity while reducing traffic congestion. This is a $152M project with an estimated completion date of 2/2029. District Overview Kiewit’s Northern California District is one of Kiewit’s leading infrastructure districts specializing in various types of work in the heavy civil, power, transportation, and water resource markets. Although most of our work is regionally based in Northern California, we also pursue various projects across the west coast. Location Location: This role will be based on-site at the project in Fairfield, CA. Responsibilities - Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision - Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work - Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages - Assist in field surveying and work layout support including elevation, control points
