Employer: Aerotek. **BESS Journeyman Electrician (Licensed)** **Location:** Fort Morgan, CO **Pay:** **$66.33/hour** **Project Type:** Utility-Scale / Commercial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Construction **Employment Type:** Full-Time | Long-Term Project **Job Summary** We are seeking a **Licensed Journeyman Electrician** to support a long-term utility-scale BESS project in **Fort Morgan, Colorado** . This role involves installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for large-scale battery storage equipment. The ideal candidate has strong commercial/industrial electrical experience and is comfortable working in fast-paced, outdoor construction environments while maintaining high safety and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** + Install, terminate, and test wiring and equipment for BESS systems + Work on AC/DC systems including battery racks, inverters, switchgear, transformers, and disconnects + Read and interpret electrical blueprints, one-lines, and schematics + Bend and install EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit + Perform grounding and bonding per NEC and project standards + Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during install and commissioning + Assist with battery module installation and system integration + Mentor and support apprentice electricians + Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site + Follow all NEC, OSHA, and site safety requirements **Required Qualifications** + **Active Colorado Journeyman Electrician License (REQUIRED)** + 3–5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience + Strong knowledge of the NEC (current edition) + Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications + Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment + Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions **Preferred Qualifications** + BESS, solar, or renewable energy experience + Experience working on energized systems + OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification + Ability to work independently or lead sma
