Performs electrical installations under the direction of the Electrical Master of Record. Replaces electrical equipment and electrical system components. Includes performing diagnostics and repair for the HVAC shop, Mechanical/Plumbing shop, Electronic shop and Conveyance shop. Provides rotating 24/7 on-call support for electrical infrastructure and building equipment, i.e. frequency drives, networked lighting systems and emergency power distribution. Proficient with digital multimeters, power analyzers, circuit tracers and other test equipment. Must provide proper evaluation and repair of electrical distribution and lighting to provide a safe environment for staff and patients. Performs testing of emergency and life safety systems to be compliant with National Electrical Code and The Joint Commission\CMS. Work time will be recorded electronically by employee in a maintenance software program to substantiate required compliance testing is completed. Performs all duties following safe electrical
