Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** This role supports a design/build construction team that assembles pre-manufactured metal buildings for commercial and industrial projects. As a General Laborer, you assist carpenters with building assembly, finish carpentry tasks, and material handling to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Assist carpenters in assembling pre-manufactured metal buildings on commercial and industrial job sites. + Support finish carpentry work, including tasks that help complete interior and exterior building details. + Install and secure metal panels by accurately screwing and fastening them according to specifications. + Transport and organize carpenters’ tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas as directed. + Use power tools and hand tools safely and correctly under the guidance of experienced carpenters. + Measure and mark materials using a tape measure to support framing and general construction activities. + Perform general labor tasks such as site cleanup, material staging, and assisting with framing work. + Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on active construction sites and outdoor environments. + Work collaboratively with carpenters and other crew members to maintain productivity and meet project timelines. **Essential Skills** + Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure in a construction setting. + Basic construction experience, including familiarity with job site practices and workflows. + Comfort working with and around power tools and hand tools. + Capability to perform general labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials. + Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions on commercial construction sites. + Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow directions and support skilled carpenters. + Previous work in construction, with experience running heavy equipment pr
