Employer: Intermountain Health. **Job Description:** Responsible for dishwashing and other general housekeeping tasks. Maintains the Culinary Department in a sanitary, safe, and clean condition that meets hospital, Health Department and Joint Commission standards. **Work Schedule** + **Part Time, 24 hours per week** + **Pay Rate:** Based on Experience ($17.43 - $22.29) + **Availability needed:** Sunday-Saturday for variable shifts + **Shift Assignments:** 7am or 8am-4:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 5pm-10pm + **Primary Shift:** 2pm-10:30pm + **Required:** Rotating holiday & weekend coverage + Benefits Eligible: Yes; Medical, Dental, Vision, Education Assistance. Click here for more detail (https://intermountainhealthcare.org/careers/working-for-intermountain/employee-benefits/) **Essential Functions** + Cleans and sanitizes dishes + Collects carts with patient trays from hospital floors. + Cleans and disinfects assigned areas including dining areas using department cleaning procedures. + Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards. + Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash. + Operates and maintains assigned equipment (e.g. commercial dishwasher) according to established procedures. **Skills** + Cleaning + Housekeeping + Dishwashing + Operate equipment + Communicate clearly **Qualifications** + **Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work (required).** + **One or more year of experience in food services or housekeeping services (preferred)** + Demonstrates ability to read color coded labels and chemicals as well as following written and verbal directions + Demonstrate ability to operate housekeeping equipment and dish machine (preferred) **Physical Requirements** + Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs. + Occasional interaction with customers that requires employee to
