The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of building systems and be capable of identifying, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance in a commercial/industrial work environment\. Other Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to: **Equipment Maintenance & Repair** • Install, repair, maintain and fabricate manufacturing equipment and perform other general maintenance and service functions\. • Duties include but are not limited to mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance, welding, pipefitting, air conditioning, carpentry work and painting\. • Perform periodic inspections and tests and report findings\. **Operational Support** • Receives general instructions from supervisors and notice of service required from supervisors and other plant personnel\. • Works from blueprints, sketches and oral instructions and specifications\. • Uses all hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for completion of assignments\. • May direct other employees assigned to the job\. **Special Duties:** The company agrees to pay employees who are required to work from a hanging chair or climb to work height, in excess of 25 feet above the roof or ground surface, an appropriate rate per hour \(based on the Climbing pay letter of Agreement\) above their own rate for hours of work falling within this category\.
