Employer: Trinity Health. **Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Position Summary** Performs journeyman level work and installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. Maintains the facilities, with a focus on electrical work. Adheres to expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values. **Major Areas of Responsibility/Essential Function % of Time** 1. Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. · Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components and repairs. · Inspects systems and electrical parts to detect hazards, defects, and need for adjustments or repair. · Maintains and repairs or replaces wiring, equipment and fixtures and removes unused wiring. · Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeter, voltmeter, and oscilloscope. · Readies and assembles electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. · Climbs ladder to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. 60% 2. Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment. · Determines the equipment needed to perform specific job. · Adheres to procedure for specific task. · Performs tasks according to procedure. · Verifies proper functionality of the piece of equipment. · Follows through on inoperative equipment, to include generating a work order and ensuring that work order is completed. · Maintains 95% completion rating on assigned PM’s. 15% 3. Performs routine repair work. · Determines the equipment needed to perform specific repair. · Performs repair work. · Documents work performed on work order and presents to clerical support staff for record keeping. · Identifies other repair needs and generates work orders. 10% 4.
