Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** This role operates sit-down forklifts to support production and material handling activities across a multi-shift operation. You safely move, load, and organize materials to ensure efficient workflow and timely production. The position offers opportunities on both 1st and 2nd shift to support around-the-clock operations. **Responsibilities** + Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within the facility. + Support production operations by staging materials, supplying lines, and removing finished goods as needed. + Perform general material handling tasks, including organizing, stacking, and relocating products in designated areas. + Follow all safety procedures and site-specific guidelines while operating forklifts and handling materials. + Inspect forklifts before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate contact. + Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in production and storage zones. + Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available where and when they are needed. + Accurately follow directions regarding material movement, storage locations, and production priorities. **Essential Skills** + Proven forklift experience, specifically operating a sit-down forklift in a production or material handling environment. + Demonstrated ability to perform safe and efficient material handling tasks. + Experience working in a production or manufacturing setting. + Ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions consistently. + Capability to work assigned shift hours reliably on either 1st or 2nd shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience supporting production lines with material supply and removal. + Familiarity with basic equipment inspection and reporting procedures. + Strong attention to detail when organizing and moving materials. + Abi
