Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** **We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator** to perform safe and efficient operation of machinery used for **flexible packaging** , including equipment that produces labels and printed boxes. Experience in a **manufacturing setting** is highly valued. Candidates with at least **6 months of machine operation experience** are preferred. **Responsibilities** + **Operate converting machinery** safely and efficiently to produce flexible packaging. + **Set up, utilize, and maintain mounting equipment** for each production run. + **Inspect plates** before each print run to ensure they meet quality standards. + **Clean and organize plates** after use for future production needs. + **Monitor the production line** and **troubleshoot** machinery issues to minimize downtime. + **Utilize a tape measure** to ensure accurate machine setup and material alignment. + **Collaborate** with the team on assembly tasks to meet manufacturing goals. **Essential Skills** + **1+ year of experience** in a manufacturing environment. + **Proficiency in reading a tape measure** for machine setup and quality checks. + **Experience with troubleshooting** machinery and production line issues. + **Knowledgeable in mechanical adjustments** and comfortable using production tools. + **Strong attention to detail** when inspecting equipment and finished products. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + **Press Operator experience** is a plus. + Experience in **flexible packaging, labels, or printing** environments is beneficial. + Ability to work **2nd shift (1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)** following a two-week 1st shift training period. + Capability to wear required **steel toe boots** and follow the workplace dress code. **Why Work Here?** **We offer a flexible and family-oriented environment** that supports work-life balance and long-term stability.
