Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** This role operates a variety of production machinery in a plastic manufacturing facility that produces parts used in high-performance automotive applications. The Machine Operator sets up and runs equipment such as guillotine, shrink wrap, and packaging machines, follows blueprints and work orders, and ensures parts meet quality and dimensional specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient workflow on a daytime, Monday through Friday schedule. **Responsibilities** + Operate a guillotine machine, shrink wrap machine, and packaging machine safely and efficiently throughout the shift. + Review and interpret blueprints and work orders to understand required dimensions, materials, and cutting specifications. + Select the appropriate saw blade based on material type and cut requirements listed on the work order. + Pull stock from storage locations and restock materials as needed to support continuous production. + Load programs into CNC and other programmable machines and adjust machine parameters to achieve accurate cuts and finishes. + Use programmable displays and machine controls to set up, run, and monitor production operations. + Remove cut stock and finished parts from machines and maintain accurate production counts, typically producing around seven plastic pieces per day. + Use measuring tools in the imperial (inches) system to verify part dimensions and ensure they meet specifications. + Perform basic machine setup, including installing blades, adjusting guides, and preparing equipment for production runs. + Use hand tools, micrometers, and calipers to check and maintain part quality and machine accuracy. + Lift and move materials and finished parts weighing up to 75 pounds on a consistent basis. + Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area in a non-climate-controlled environment. + Work independently for most of the shift while communicating any issues with eq
